ስልጣኔ ራሓይታ ካብቶም ሓሙሽተ ስልጣኔታት ዓፋር ሓደ ኮይኑ፡ ኣብ ገማግም ቀይሕ ባሕርን መጻቢቦ ባብ ኤልመንደብን ብምህላዉ ድማ ዝያዳ ስምን ጽልዋን ኣለዎ፡፡ ዓፋር ኣብ ዝነብሩለን ሃገራትን ከባብታን፡ ነቲ ስልጣኔ ዝውክሉ ሑሉልታ (ኣምባሳደራት) ዝበሃሉ ኣለዉ እዮም፡፡ ዛጊት ኣብ ኤርትራ፡ ጅቡቲ ኤትዮጵያ ንሱልጣን ብምውካል ኣብ ዝተፈላለዩ ባህላዊ ዉራያት ክሳተፉ ዝተመዘዙ -36 ሑሉልታ ኣለዉ። ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ግን ካብዚ ፍሉጥን ንጹርን ዕማም ወጻኢ ኣብ ዝተፈላለዩ ፖሎትካዊ መኣድታት ስልጣኔ ራሓይታ ከምዝተወከለ ንምምሳልን፡ ብስም እዚ ስልጣኔ ፖሎትካ ክስራሕን ክሽቀጠሉን ይፍተን'ዩ፡፡ ኣብዚ ክሳብ ሕጂ ዝተካየዱ ብሕጂ ውን ዝካየዱ ፖሎትካዊ መድረኻት፡ ስልጣኔ ራሓይታ ውክልና ከምዘይብሉ የረጋግጽ። ብተወሳኺ፡ ንዓፋር ኣብ ቅድሚት ኣሰልፍካ ሕቶ ባሕሪ ሕቶ ሓደ ብሄር ንምምሳል ዝግበር ፖሎትካዊ ኣሻጥር ህዝቢ ዓፋር ክነቕሓሉ እጽውዕ።
Message from Sultan of Rahayta, Abdelqadir Dawood

The Sultanate of Rahayta, is one of the five Afar sultanates. Located along the Red Sea coast and near the Straight of Bab-el-Mandeb, the Sultanate of Rahayta is well-known and enjoys influence.
The Afar have representatives (called "hululta", or ambassadors) who represent this Sultanate in the countries and regions where Afar communities reside. Currently, there are 36 "hululta" (representatives) officially appointed by the Sultan, who participate in various cultural events on behalf of the Sultan in Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti. However, in Ethiopia, beyond the recognized and legitimate role, there have been attempts to use the name of the Sultanate of Rahayta in various political gatherings, to conduct political activities in its name. The Sultanete of Rahayta, was not represented in the past and is not currently represented in such political activities. Furthermore, I urge Afars to remain vigilant against political manipulations that attempt to portray the question of access to the sea as a question of one ethnic group by using the name of the Afar people.
