But the US constitution is against ethnic ideology, segregation and federalism based on ethnicity.

Understandably, ethnic federalism is a poisonous ideology. The problem is that it is supported by majority in Ethiopia. If majority supports it, what is the solution? Which ethnics moral responsibility to fight it? Is it all or just Amharas only responsibility? From what I see, all are happy with the current ethnic system.

I don't think ethnic politics is supported by the majority of the public; they may want retention of the right to self-expression culturally and self-administration of some kind but not the ethnic federalism. It is only the politicians and their supporters who want it and benefit from it. I don't believe the poor Ethiopian majority is political. In fact, the majority of the population does not even know beyond the horizon of its living region or area. What the people want is live in peace for most part. They don't care who is ruling as far as the system treats them well. Past experience tells us that it is the elite that for most part causes political disturbance in the country. The political ideology they use is to get power and exploit resources. They bring all sorts of evil ideology to divide the nation to stay in power.
I agree with you though, all ethnics should be involved in changing the system for their good instead of submitting sheepishly to the existing rule. That is the weakness of the Ethiopian public specially in cities. From Ethiopian history, we know, once a powerful regime is in control the majority of the public simply adapts to system than wanting to change the oppressive system. The workload should not be left for one ethnic; in gathering resource as well as toiling on the ground. When TPLF was fighting in the earlier days, it used the POWS to create EPRDF and used them as combatants. Fano has to do a lot of work in this regard, including on the way it uses POWS, uniting into one ideology and coming forward with ideology that redeems the day. EPRDF/TPLF used to have a vary huge propaganda unit with radios, networks and cells in the mainland.

I have a serious doubt on what you say. If majority don't like or accept it, we would have seen resistance to it. A resistance in the form of armed confrontation might be too much to ask considering geographical difficulties or cultural experiences but a resistance in the form of medias, being vocal about it should have been there. We don't see that.

Also, supporting existing resistance such as Fano would have been an option to consider. But non of them are taking part. In contrast, elites of nations and nationalities are working with the regime in large quantities. They are also vocal on opposing Amhara Fano for the obvious reasons. This is a hard fact we cannot refute

The world's number one war is due to race / ethnicity coupled with wealth.

Ethiopia was way advanced prior to Tplf rule, inn21st century, if there were no ethnic rule, Ethiopia would have advanced like Brazil. How, there would not be division, people could be lead and follow. If there is no listening and talking called dialogue . This does not mean there would not be a problem, of course there would still be people who would feel excluded which could be fixed with the right constitution and democracy. Today Ethiopia could fail in democracy and unity because people rule based on ethnicity whom do not have experience that is pulling the nation to division and backwardness as well as worshiping foreigners because of identity crisis.

You are absolutely right. Also, I wish Odie is right but that is not the case.
Except the Amharas, either the rest of Ethiopians do not understand the long term dangerous consequences of ethnic politics or they are acting on the wrong perceptions of the Amharas are the oppressor enemies.

FANO has to grind firmly to victory. Stabilize the country and work on the framework of dismantling ethnic politics through a transitional government.
Those who wish to continue with ethnic politics should be free to pursue it on their own.
I am OK with an independent Tigray and Oromia as long as it is done through a referendum and peacefully.
