Tigray : Debretsion kicked out of TPLF leadership meeting ?

A spokesman for the TPLF has responded to questions from BBC Tigrinya about a current issue he has been discussing.
The main questions from BBC Tigrinya included relations with the federal government and the Eritrean government, the party's legal status and the situation of the displaced.
There have been rumors on social media that there are wide differences in the party's top leadership and that the party chairman walked out of the meeting due to criticism. However, Saturday's statement said nothing about the matter.
When asked about this by BBC Tigrinya, Michael said, “It is a lie.” He said there was no assessment of programs other than individual leaders.
“One of the agendas of the central committee meeting was to review the previous year's programmes.
None went beyond criticism. Therefore, the rumors that the party chairman walked out of the meeting are baseless,” he said.
The statement said the faction led by Getachew Reda, whom it accused of committing national treason, is repairing the damage it has done to the party and mobilizing leadership capacity.
