Follow this excellent analysis. Ethiopia's demand for Assab does not violate Eritrean sovereignty. In fact, by including Assab in the Eritrean map EPLF made fundamental error on the validity of its referendum. The people of Afar and their leaders protested that Assab was Ethiopian territory and they were forcefully ignored by EPLF. Even the US has told Isays and Meles not to include Assab. So, now we are back at square one.

The whole cursed-land-ethiopia is on fire dying and wars everywhere and protests everywhere and famine everywhere and now killer disease is everywhere too, and this moran got the nerves to talk about stealing my Eritrea's port. . What the fkkkk is this moran headless horse is smoking or drinking?

The thing is Horus that ship is sailed. had Ethiopia discussed this about afar and their self determination prior to april 1993 and there was a separate deal established u had a case,it cant be reversed the only country or govt that can reverse it is Eritrea , Eritrea is the only UN member state that can now request self determination referendum to be hold for the Afar region, and i dont see that happening. the only thing you could have would have done would have been prior to 1993 now this is done , the referendum was approved by the UN and by Ethiopia and Eritrea.
