It reflects the firm commitment of both sides to advance innovation and technological progress, pursuing a long-term, comprehensive economic security partnership to deepen shared security commitments and foster economic prosperity, utilizing advanced and future technologies for the mutual benefit of our two great countries.

what is your source? Do you mind sharing? Having tried to understand the core message of the statement I failed to understand the central message that it wants to convey. What should I understand under "a historic step that establishes a new milestone in the strategic relationship" concretely?

Is it about transfer of knowledge? Which also encompasses technological innovations? In that case what is the new strategic partnership trying to establish concretely? Everything is not so clear for me, specially having heard somewhere that the Kingdom wants to invest upwards of $1 Trn in the US (I don't remember the time frame here for).

Anyhow discussing about international cooperation and advancement of knowledge has no bearing in our corner of the world, where some actors are light years away from the idea instead of sabotaging neighbors, instigating violence, exporting arms or serving as arms conducive to just thwart any plan of development. To get to such kind of discussions, we have to first get rid of Shabia from the face of the earth, a cancer of development ideas.
