Egypt is the least spiritual baseless society. Egypt has been ruled by foreign powers, colonial powers for 1986 years, almost for 2000 years. During those 2000 years 18 different foreign powers ruled her. And during those 2000 years colonial rule Egypt never fought its invaders for her freedom and never expelled those powers from it land. Egypt has never fought and won a war.

Because it has never experienced justice, freedom and fairness, Egypt does not know what justness, fairness, equity means. Ancient Egyptians called Ethiopia, the mother and source the blue Nile, the Land of God because we provide 87% of the Life of Egypt.

EGYPT IS THE MOST UNGRATEFUL NATION ON PLANET EARTH!

You see, if Egypt knew what justness and fairness meant, they would have been best friends of Ethiopia. Ethiopia gives them life. Now, it is a new day in Ethiopia. We are fighting the last colonial force, a left over residual colonial force that does not know what justness is all about.

The day Egypt, the last country to receive this water, claims ownership of it is over. Now, it is all about give and take. Ethiopia will give her the water for an equal gift from Egypt - it will all about give and take.

So let me repeat, Ethiopia fears no power on planet earth. Our history proves it. So, if Egypt begins to negotiate with Ethiopia, the sole regional power of the Horn of Africa, it means Egypt is maturing as a nation and beginning to understand what Ethiopia is all about.

As for the non-entity, the non-being joke called Eritrea, it needs to begin to learn the ABC of nationhood, what it means to be a country. One of these days some body in Eritrea wakes up and says enough to be a servant and water carrier of Egypt.

I don’t know if Egypt is scared of Ethiopia. But I know one thing for sure — for the very survival of Egypt friendship with Ethiopia is a must. Survival might not be the right word, but I hope you get the idea.

Egypt is sacred of Ethiopia not because Ethiopia plans anything harmful against her as far as water is concerned. Egypt is scared because there is an inevitable emergent reality - one of these days, Ethiopia becoming the uncontestable regional power of the Horn.

The fundamental Egyptian strategy is not about water, it is about powwer over the horn of Africa. In fact is about the Red Sea. Egyptian fear is about Ethiopia becoming a Red sea state and the emerging Ethiopian navy on the red sea and the Ethiopian Air Force on the skies of the Horn.

As we speak, Ethiopia is clearing assuming leadership of Africa in may ways and Addis is visibly becoming African and global diplomatic activity. Egypt is practically absent. Egypt has nothing to show or offer black Africa and Egyptians are feeling the isolation.

Here is one simple example. Yesterday, 54 Africa countries chose Ethiopia over Nigeria to host COP32 in 2027. This happened just as Egypt was throwing temper tantrum over Ethiopia's success over the GERD.

Ethiopia's leadership over the global climate movement is very very significant diplomatic achievement and coup. It is massive global good will that translates in other influences such as our quest for Sea access. Notice, the current Ugandan position on the issue.

So, as these small victories add up, it begins to add to Ethiopia's gravitas in the Region - specially in the view of projected economic growth trajectory and the modernization of our cities and farms.
