Re: Timeless EPLF struggle songs
eden,
you must be a truly ቆሞ ቀር, still stuck to the ዘመነ ነፃ አዉጪ (አርነት ኤርትሪያ፣ አርነት ትግራይ፣ አርነት ኦሮሚያ፣ አርነት ሶማሊያ፣ አርነት xyz), which has been outdated and overrun already. Starting with the post-era of the so called cold-war years/decades, which was effectively a warm-war in many parts of Africa and elsewhere in the so called third world countries, thanks to the kinds of your EPLF, the fashion has been out of sync by now, if not totally absent.
Before we may call its song "timeless" what did the EPLF itself achieve on the ground? To put in mildly it just brought about a misery to the people it acted in its name. Eritrea today is a hell on the earth, the same is going to happen to Tigray, if the clowns over there keep denying the undeniable facts on the ground.
The era we are in is a one for collaboration, productivity, open market, knowledge driven, creating bridges instead of raising walls and the song you are trying to advertise for is out of sync with all these features. Adding an insult to the sustained injury.
Just look at an average joe of Eritrea and tell us if he/she is in anyway better of under the EPLF and give some concrete reasons why you may think so.
The fact of the matter is that the same EPLF made the life of an average Eritrean unbearable, no matter how hard-working an Eritrean citizen was under the united Ethiopia and which privilege they enjoyed in the mother land.
We know for sure that Eritreans are hard-working citizens but thanks to the EPLF and your timeless songs, which were used to brainwash the people and agitate them towards separation from the mother land, those people can't access a vast market for their earned products and services and driven to a destitute life under a dictatorship and sensorship.
You are a certain power hungry creature at all costs and you care less how the average citizens are trying to cope with the hardship brought upon them in the name of አርነት ኤርትሪያ.
Keep trying to insult our intelligence!

With all due respect, if you OPDO folks truely believe what you scribbled above, why preserve the constitution that guarantees secession?DefendTheLie wrote: ↑08 Nov 2025, 14:03

constitution is written for the people by the people, not imposed on them. A party can appeal (by making them more ripe for the task, as an example) to the will of the people to amend or change a constitution but never allowed to impose over them.
Fact of the matter is this: YOU NEVER KNOW IF ABIY AHMED IS FOR THE CURRENT CONSTITUTION OR AGAINST IT. What we know for sure is that he has no mandate to change the constitution of the people!
