- Super powers : TPLF close association with China & its developmental state model was not liked by the super powers
- Egypt: had serious grievance on TPLF for damming the Abiy river ( Meles crossed Egypt's water security red line)
- Isaias: has a fierce rivalry, grievance & obsession to revenge against TPLF
- Ethiopians working for Isaias & Egypt - promise by Egypt/ Isaias to power in Ethiopia & West Tigray to Gondares.
- Abiy was the last to join " the let us destroy TPLF & subdue Tigray" team for no important strategic objective but mainly to appease Isaias & the other team members( Isaias also made it a condition for Ethiopia to use Assab) .The differences between Abiy and TPLF could have been easily addressed through discussion ( Axumezana have been saying it & Abiy just confirmed that)
