- Background : Egypt concern about dams built/ to be built in Ethiopia is a legitimate one as Egypt practically depends on the Nile water for its survival. However Egypts strategy how to address the concern has been wrong & a zero sum game against Ethiopia by keeping Ethiopia poor, weak and unstable by using internal ethnic fault lines and rivalry among Ethiopians.
- Egypts current demand for Ethiopia to sign a binding agreement that assures Egypt to continue use the lion share of the Abiy river.
- The concern of Egypt can be addressed by creating hundreds of billions cubic meter water bank by building more dams in the Abay gorge and other rivers such as Tekeze , Baro etc( the money to build the dams could come from the Western / developed countries Arabs) & under this scenario Ethiopia could conditionally commit to Egypt not to affect the volume of water that is flowing today to both Sudan & Egypt.
- Ethiopia could also leverage on the dam to getting access to the Sea
- The agreement with Egypt and Sudan should also be conditional to both stopping supporting Eritrea or any other country and internal groups in destabilizing Ethiopia.
Abiy should destroy Isaias once he isolated him from the Egypt & the Arabs.

Axumezana is recommending a new paradigm to remove the dead lock and at the same time isolating Isaias/ removing the leverage of Eritrea on Ethiopia once and for all. Adanech Abebe told you to get lost. Brhanu JELA told you the same thing. This is truth what they think about you. Instead of obsessing with Eritrea and her leader, why not think and have a strategy about your own people and Tigray. But inferior complexity is an illness that have no cure.
