It is a shameful act in the 21st century and the system in Addis should be asked to resign from power indeed!

It is in only in Ethiopia that a statue of a cut breast is erected, in the regional government of Oromia. This was based on unconfirmed history or rhetoric perpetuated by a Shabya spy fiction book called "Ye-Burka Zimita". Based on this rhetoric, the entire Oromo youth called Kero, militia, the current Oromo administration security apparatus, cadres and politicians have been fed and raised with the hate concept that other Ethiopians, the Amhara did this to their people. No body has addressed the fruit this hate rhetoric would produce one day. There was good reason to fear Rwanda style civil calamity would occur in Ethiopia because the politicians remained unhinged often giving divisive and hate speech flaming the flame of ethnic conflict. Now we have started seeing the fruits of these hate speech and actions. The politicians never bothered to bar ethnic politics or restrain from hate speech and unify the country. Some probably did not believe when the international media revealed the extent of atrocities committed by the so called ENDF during the Tigray war because the belief was the national army was well trained well conducted national army. However, that was far from the truth about the actions of this ethnically divided, ethnically ruled, dominated army with soldiers mainly from Oromia region who are inculcated with the false rhetoric mentioned above.
Now, for the second time, heinous atrocities indicating women freedom fighters are being killed, skinned, their breast dissected (misogynistically or may be for a ritual God knows) perhaps rapped by the same forces and discarded for others to see to seed terror among the Amhara regions.
This is something unexpected from the 21st century and it is a war crime on the top of ethnic cleansing/genocide going on in Amhara region by ENDF and its command system.
It is high time the international society recognize the atrocity, war crime and ethnic cleansing going on the region and demand the ethnic violent system in Ethiopia to respond in accountable way. The public should demand the incumbent system in Ethiopia to resign and all Amhara or God-fearing citizen officers in ENDF to resign to immediate effect. This would be a civilized decision at this juncture where peace in the country has evaporated.
