Why you associated him with Gurage while he is not Gurage? He hacked Gurage identity does not mean he is Gurage. The question is why did stole fake identity. Like Huresa, he was raised in Addis Ababa (now he calls it FinFin) and been pickpocketing, stealing was routine culture of the Sodo-Gordena Huresa and Biranu Nega. There is nothing they stood for, but only hack and steal.
He cannot be a traitor while not being part of Gurage.

You are right; this traitor has no dna to be a Gurage person. Whorus, at least, was born in Amuate village of Kistane and grew up in Shema Terra, Merkato. But, Birratu Naga was born and raised in Debrezeit. The first time he set foot in Gurage was once, and once only, at his 60s, accompaying Clown Abiy Ahmed to tell the Gurage people they did not deserve a kilil of their own in Welkite.
