Irrecha is not a religious ritual or anything similar, it is just a festival at the end of a season in Ethiopia. Religious events in Ethiopia are mostly tied to some form of central given rules, while Irrecha is free from any of them. Everybody celebrates the festival according to one's own mode and liking of the day. There is no rule to adhere to, as far as the play is observing the path of peace and love to each other, no violence, no hate, no separation, only unity and togetherness.

Ireecha then must be explained where how who what on its origins. Hardly known to majority of Ethiopians.
