Debre Birhan city has developed its own industrial park which has granted land for industrial investors many investors seek debre berhan outside of addis. the city administration has more land to offer for investors at a lower price compared to addis.

Debre Berhan city holds 22,000 IDP's whom are mostly displaced from Welega and are of Muslim Amhara/Wolloye orgin

No Muslim "activist" online screamed and cried for the Muslims of Welega who were genocided in 2020
Because their killers were Shene the Muslim community remained silent
Muslims in Ethiopia only protest when it's Amhara to blame. TPLF PP OLF all done crimes against Muslims and destroyed mosques but NO MUSLIM went to PROTEST.

You make a point here, this has been in my mind for years. No one cared about the killings in Wollega, but the religious leaders (who very likely do not like Amharas) were protesting and complaining for years about a small hut that was burned in Mota.
