Somaliland versus Eritrea in Comparison

Somaliland is a republic in the Horn of Africa, while Eritrea has no status in this regard (it is officially dubbed State of Eritrea, without having any of the qualifications for such a status). De jour Eritrea is independent and de-facto nonindependent, ruled by a dictatorship, while Somaliland is defacto an independent state, democratically ruled, holding elections, upholding the rule of the law, two main pillars of a democratic state, among others. De-jour Somaliland is still nonindependent, while Eritrea the rouge state enjoys such a status. A double standard holding our world in grip, seit generations.

This double standard should be ended and the world should revoke the recognition of statehood accorded to Eritrea with an immediate effect, among others to lesson the plight of the Eritrean people languishing under the rule of the most brutal dictatorship the world has today.

International community should wake up and AU should wake up to end the enduring plights of the Eritrean people!

Eritrea has far more resources and more potential in terms what it can be , the only problem is that Eritrea is controlled by a man who has no vision i am sure the people of eritrea has allot of potential Eritrea would not spend 500 milllion dollar to consume qat , In Somaliland they do

Somaliland yes has elections but it doesnt have allot of resources it its people have allot of enterpeneur spirit and its goverment allows a free market place.

Eritrea is a full country part of the UN AU and an observer of the ARAB league its a recognised country

Somaliland is a defacto state not recognised by any other country in the world
