My dear brother Dark E. of course there is no license and patent on a particular culture. But, taking someone's culture and presenting it as yours is an outright theft. Amharic eskista is unique and indigenous to Amhara people. Speaking of Arabic culture, we don't claim to have one. We are happy to have ours and we do respect theirs. We are not influenced by them as you may have been influenced. If you say "Belly Dance" we all know it refers to Arabic culture. If you say "Hip Hop" it is african american culture. If you say "River Dance" we know it is an Irish culture. "Dhanto" for somalis and If you say "Kuda" it is yours and we don't present it as ours. But "Eskista" is ours and you should not claim it. Sir, this is not a political thing. This is cultural. The same way your Galla relatives are stealing our culture, the skunni eritreans are stealing our culture. We know Amhara culture and first you people hate it, denounced it and cursed it. Now everyone of you try to adopt it. We know the reason you all hated an trashtalked about it 10,20,30 years ago.
