Getachew wants to have an easy life. Easy life he will not get. It is all about himself. He is not Meles or Debretsion. He is not charismatic or patriotic. He is just riding the chair. He is in the wrong place at the wrong time. His body language tells it all.

Getcho screwed up big time. When you do a stupid thing you have to smarten up and correct it immediately. Before it gets out of control.
Instead he trapped himself. The trap door is closed and he is forced to act stupid. Doubling down in stupidity.
It reminds me of Horus.
They both are helpless. And they have to blame no one but themselves.
He should never have left his comrades for Abiye Ahmed Ali. In peace and war he has been through a lot with those criminal gangs at the TPLF.
He is now totally naked. Disrespected and a laughing stock . Getcho is frightened and scared. You can see it on his face.
Soon Abiye will throw him under the bus. He should never have trusted the con artist.

I stopped watching the interview when the interviewer didn't know Getachew's current official title and said he just started following the politics of the Horn in the past 2 years. I knew he would not really question Getachew.

Getachew and Abiy are cut from the same clothe, the only difference being Getcho's degrees are real! They have no long-term vision and adopt their actions to current condions! Such people are perrenially prone to blunders as their oppotunistic tendencies lead them from disaster to disaster. Getcho's downfall is tragic as he has no cards in the game and has succumbed to a man of lesser intelligence. The poor dolt miscalculated hugely when he betrayed his entire past so publicly. At least Horus can fade away and agonize in private when Wedi Beshasha is gone.

Abiye can use Sebhat Nega more than he use Getcho to make some kind of secret deals with the TPLF if they ever trust him.
The two scorpions PP & TPLF can’t live in the same bottle. At one point, one has to eliminate the other. The table is now set for the TPLF to strike first.
