Shame on skunnis....now they are trying to rebrand our Amharic eskista and tunes as theirs and sell it to the world. Shame on these stuuiuuupid skunni Eritreans. Stick to your own way. Don't copy us.

This is the reason they are weakening Amara with their mercinaries pp and Tplf. They want to eliminate Amara and take the culture and value of Amara. Why? So they can claim the land as theirs. It began in Wello under Isayas' uncle who became the governor. It is hard to say since 30 years if there are true Amaras that are not hybrid in Wello and Gonder.

this certainly is similar to Amhara wedding songs. Skunnni Shabia was promoting Sudanese and Arab style of singing suppressing these old traditions because it displays connections with Ethiopians? Looks like for me.

If there is component in Akale Guzai that linked them culturally, they need to speak out. All I know is that akele Guzayans are scolded as "Agame" by skunnis in Hamassen & Seraye. I don't think there is anyone here from Akale Guzai

Look the dance below. The song is in Oromifa, the dance is stolen from Gurage. Even the people were once Gurage too but now Oromo!

Misraq,

You are rushing your judgement. That culture belongs to the Billen tribes of Eritrea who emigrated to Eritrea during the Lalibela dynasty. They are agew. You see similar culture in Southern Eritrea as well. Don’t be surprised. People do not live in a vacuum. :( :(
