The issue of Northern & Southern has not been an issue in Ethiopia. In Nigeria we have that sort of division and they still suffer from it. We need unity as Ethiopians not further division. Of course Egypt & Eritrea want to destroy Ethiopia by initiating North to South war.

That is not a bad idea. Think about it. Tigray in Ethiopia as it is, does not have tremendous influence. Tigray is a scape goat. Amhara and Tigrayans shared power peacefully in the past. A nation that comprises Amharas and Tigrayans is not a bad idea at all. Southern nationalities deserve their very own nation as well. The Oromos should own their destiny a too. Somalis for sure. Ethiopia should be divided into four or more regions. Guragies can opt to be part of Oromya. Think about it. As it is now, Tigrayans will continue to be the scapegoat of those in power.

Ethiopia could stay united & strong with hybrid Confederation/ Federation structure which could include Somalia, Sudan, Djibouti & Eritrea. Hands off external forces from Ethiopia.
