ይህ ፎቶግራፍ ትክክለኛ ከሆነ የብልፅግና ሰዎች እብደት ከቁጥጥር ውጪ እየሆነ ነው ማለት ነው። ከወደብም አልፎ ኤርትራን የመጠቅለል ህልም አላቸው ማለት ነው? በእርግጥ ህልም አይከለከልም። አሁን ይሄንንም ብሄራዊ ጥቅም ነው ብሎ የሚጃጃል የብልፅግና ደነዝ አይጠፋም መቼም?! እንዲህ በማድረጋቸው ብቻ በሀገሪቱ ላይ የሚያመጡት የዲፕሎማሲ ኪሳራ ቀላል የሚባል አይደለም። አጀንዳ እየሰጡ የህዝቡን ትኩረት ለማስቀየስ ከሆነም የጅል አካሄድ ነው። በእነዚህ ሰዎች እጅ ውስጥ ያለችው ኢትዮጵያ ታስፈራለች። ሟች ከመሞቱ በፊት እንዲህ ያደርገው ነበር ያልከው ሰው የት ነህ ያለኽው?

It is deeply unfortunate that Oromummaa has raised such a highly sensitive issue - one that resonates with the emotions and historical memory of nearly every Ethiopian, with the exception of the TPLF and OLF. It is clear that Abiy Ahmed would not have brought up the Red Sea issue at this moment had it not been for the pressure he faces from Fano. Just a few years ago, he and Isaias Afwerki were close allies.

Now, the OLF-PP is using the Red Sea issue as a tactical distraction. But for the Ethiopian people, the Red Sea is not just a political talking point - it holds immense strategic and historical significance. It is seen as an inviolable right of both the present and future generations of Ethiopians.

The PP-OLF may continue its narrative as it wishes. While we do not trust PP, that does not mean we should silently accept the injustice and betrayal committed by Shabia against Ethiopia.

Activists have every reason to call out the daily crimes and systemic failures inflicted on Ethiopians by the PP-OLF regime. As the saying goes, "A stone thrown into a pond by a fool cannot be easily retrieved" - Ethiopians must be cautious not to unintentionally provide false evidence or misleading narratives that embolden enemy forces like Shabia, even in the name of opposing Abiy Ahmed.

So far, I haven’t seen a single voice from the people of the Eritrean province on this forum acknowledging the theft - not even those who oppose Shabia. This is because they’ve been falsely indoctrinated to believe that Assab rightfully belongs to them.

But if those who cling to falsehood can be so resolute, then shouldn’t we, who know the truth—stand firm in defending it, come rain or shine?

Do you really think Ethiopians fought over Badme alone? No, they hoped to reclaim access to their Red Sea. Unfortunately, the leadership at the time was just as deceptive and self-serving as Abiy Ahmed is today. (Just look at what happened in Pretoria.)
