The failed Horn elites try to grasp the speed and tempo of this Ethiopian nation; they try to find a frame through which they can understand the Ethiopian reality unfolding before their eyes, a cascade of reality that is beyond their habitual and lazy imagination. These failed elites are truly going through a crises of perception because their habits and biases are shattered by an Ethiopia that has surged like a volcano with a new earth moving mindset and moving at dizzying speed. Reality is cruel; it punishes rigidity as well as stupidity. The world moves not according to the illusions of fools but according to the speed of reality.
