The G-15 were incarcerated during the war when the nation faced multiple enemies. At that time, for reasons of “national security,” we accepted the version of the Dictator. Words like democracy and accountability were treated as secondary to the priority of national survival.

According to the official narrative, the crime of the G-15 was that they approached Woyane leaders during the peak of the war. however, if rapprochement with Woyane was their crime, why is it considered halal for the Dictator, yet haram for the G-15 now?
Second, if reconciliation with former external enemies is possible and even celebrated, why is there no effort to reconcile with your own brothers-in-arms and countrymen?
