The system in Eritrea is led by a single deranged psycho who detests the Eritrean people to the bone. What I am trying to emphasize is that the environment restricts any development in that area or any other area in the scientific field. For me, Stem Cell therapy could be a very good field to pursue for a country like Eritrea. Eritreans have the potential. Unfortunately, it stops right there.

I totally agree with you. Institutions of higher learning have been replaced by vocational schools, ministers who die by low-level bureaucrats, army generals by lower rank colonels, ambassadors by low-level political appointees, as if Eritrea has no need of its ministers, generals and ambassadors. He seems to have made up his mind to never promote Eritreans, whether army officers, diplomats or civil servants, which is a sure way of downgrading the standards of our society. So I don't expect him to start promoting STEM among our youth. It is up to us to do that. We should also be careful on how we discuss things among ourselves, we should always do this in ways that strengthen our social fabric.
