If, again, Ethiopia misbehaves to the West, Tigrey may be given crutches to more than stand on its feet and rule Ethiopia again. But, this time a third contender, Oromo came up to the surface. When well-organized and led, with its huge size would be a force hard to ignore in the regional politics of NE Africa. The rise of Oromo makes Tigrey as an alternative to use in place of Amara in NE Africa unimporrant. It could well be that Tigrey is doomed forever in NE Africa regional politics as Oromo is more and more asserting its usefulness to the West as alternative force to Amara in Ethiopian politics.

The West always wanted to use Oromo due its impressive size and territorial reaches but because of two situations:
1. the perception that Galla was Muslim
2. the readily available willingness of Amara to be a proxy tribe for the West's nefarious deeds in NE Africa.

Shallow analysis ! Even during Tedros time Oromo's of Wello were organized ! The bottom line is that Tigray shall remain self governed but could be confederated with the Horn Africa Axumite states. Some Oromo's claim that they were part of the Axumite empire , which is good.

Europe perceived Yeju Oromos as Muslims, but that perception encompassing all Oromo is now debunked.The West will more likely stay with Oromo for long while.
Tribal forces alignment:
1. Tigrey with ruling Oromo against Amara
2. Tigrey with Eritrea against both Amara and ruling Oromo , i.e, Ethiopia
3. Tigrey, Amara and Eritrea against ruling Oromo
