3. THE SOMALIA PORT IS TOO FAR, UNDEVELOPED, & COSTLY.

4. IF ETHIOPIA ESTABLISHES BASE IN SOMALIA, WE WILL OWN THE AL-SHABAB PROBLEM & CHAOS. ETHIOPIA MUST STAY AWAY FROM SOMALIA PROBLEM.

5. ETHIOPIAN PORT & NAVY BASE WILL NEVER BE SAFE IN SOMALIA.

6. MOST PRACTICAL, LOGICAL, RATIONAL CHOICE FOR PORT & NAVY BASE IS SOMALILAND.

President of the Republic of Somalia, E.H.arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for an official working visit. Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed at Bole International Airport by H.E. Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The two leaders proceeded to the National Palace in Addis Ababa for a tête-à-tête meeting, where they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing developmental cooperation based on good neighborliness, mutual respect, and shared prosperity, while upholding the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of both nations.
