Some drama, some chaos is going on in his mind. This instability of views one hold are definitely a result of a neural disfunction of capacitor like components of the brain whose function is retainment of already formed ideas. When the capacitors drain their content, it's often due to leaks. The electrical term for drainage is discharge. Deletion of the capacitor of its contents creates a space for new ideas to take place which would be drained out like those before. The patient does not remember the views that drained out.
