2. Halaba and Yem special weredas in Hadiya
Special Wereda movements have been bloody. They are not protests against Regional or Zonal governments. They have not killed beaurocrats or police or army. They burned homes and crops of farmers. They stole cattle. They burned and or looted shops. Killed targetted ethnic group members in markets and in schools. Or on roads.
Political movements for special weredas are said to be clandestinely planned and run by the federal gov of Ethiopia. Aba Dula Gemeda is the obvious suspect as the man in charge.
Tigrey, Oromo, Somali, Sidama and Afar do not have special weredas for minorities.
