I believe the other Guy (Dr Milkesa) is more intelligent. I did not listen all of it but I thought the exchange was awkward. He does not seem honest/genuine too. I was hoping he might have learned his lessons but doubt

Mesay has no conscience. He serves anyone who pays him well. Birratu Naga and dope Prof.Almariam hired him on ESAT. Now, to impress the diaspora and obtain their likes, shares and views of his videos, he beats the Fano drum. He would quickly drop Fano if another group could pay him better. A grifter!!! Money buys his his conscience. His conscience is money.

I would further demand we use the word Ethiopians to disassociate ourselves from the socialism or communism inspired word The People. It's an oxymoron to use the word we find in socialist and communist literature while we sold Ethiopia for American and European imperialist interests. Don't we know shame!! Don't we know Ethiopia lives on USAID, UK, German and France aid?

Jawar is a demagogue and dangerous. But to write him off as a key player in the Ethiopian politics would be a mistake.
One thing about the Oromo politicians in opposition is that they have matured politically. They have now a brain thrust, a group that advises and influence the Oromo masses and the military wing in opposition. The group constantly gets together and devices strategy. They have successfully infiltrated the government.
That is something the Amhara opposition lacks. Despite a strong army in Fano, they do not have a political wing that strategize and help the armed wing. It is a very important component of the struggle to consider.
Melese Zenawi and the TPLF cc members as a political wing successfully helped the armed struggle then.

It is not writing him off. That is why I posted him here for the benefit of doubt but with the short time I heard him I did not find him that appealing. He should work hard on himself to be appealing to all walks of Ethiopians. He should get out of the narrow minded controversial person he used to be and he has to be smart enough to dismantle the current mafia in power ridding the Oromuma horse. The incumbents never played a role as big as Jawar played during the toppling of TPLF. He has to be pro democracy and forget about ethnic based developmental democracy of EPRDF/OPDO/PP complex! Dr Milkesa looks less toxic, calm and mature. Jawar has to assume a more non-religious democrat position to succeed and use his educational background than the fanstism he used to preach. Many Ethiopians need reassurance from him to improve his past bad records.

There is no such thing as "ህዝቦች". Such thinking is a product of divisive and misguided ideologies. You cannot categorize the Erob, Kunama, Tigre, Tigrayan, Amhara, Oromo, etc., "ህዝቦች. They are all part of the people of the historic and sovereign country of Ethiopia.
As for the TPLF, it is no longer an independent force, it is essentially under the control of Abiy Ahmed and his Oromumma project. When Abiy tells the TPLF to sit down and be quiet, it obeys. It is in Alamata, under the protection of the OLF-dominated ENDF. Its supplies , food, money, fuel, weapons, and artillery, are provided by the OLF-PP regime. Politically and militarily, the TPLF is incapacitated.
Abiy Ahmed’s real fear is not the TPLF or even Eritrea , it is the Amhara Fano. Over the past three years, Fano has significantly weakened his grip on power. He sees Fano as the primary threat to his rule and Orommuma project.
As for Eritrea and Shabia, it is a politically and economically isolated, irrelevant , essentially in an ICU, surviving only . For decades, its lifeline has been tied to its alliances with groups like the OLF and TPLF. Thus, when that support or tube is unplugged then the Eritrea Shabia in ICU (isolated with no economy and political institution or governance system) will stop breathing.
Honestly, Eritrea's Shabia is on life support and is in state of comma - good thing for Eritrea province people.
