Hodus/Horus is not necessarly a gurage. Even when he is Kistane Gurage he does not represent kistane or whole Gurage. This evil system is supported by all ethnics, many would be Amhara included. I could have insulted Ezke-selassie, Daniel kibret and many other Amhara supporting Abiy by blaming and insulting amhara. You and Right should make a distinction in this. There is a lot other way to address the stupidity and ignorance of Horus. He is just like Sisay Agena.
Not for the sake of Amhara (that is doing its job), I am angry at Horus, I am angry because he is lying and not Gurage that is benefiting; may be he gets a benefit at individual level. the posts he posts are very irrational and show his ignorance.
He as OPP cadre is unhappy with any Fano + OlA or Tigre alliance because the stronger this alliance grows he knows the system will be gone. So, he is partly crying out of desperation and trying to win support for Oromuma.
It is good not to insult Nessro and Gurage instead of handling Horus! Gurage does not need mistreatment because of this scuuuumbag!

Of course. No body likes being insulted in a single package. Yes I am gurage. I never hides that as you hail yourself as Amhara. I happen to hate calling others by ethnic slur. That has been used in Ethiopia for centuries to abuse others. That is what brought us to the current mishmash. This led to the works of ዋለልኝ ደርግ and Zenawi ushering the destruction and the war. And the current ethnofascism. That shows Ethiopia was not a perfect union but better. Having said that, everything has identity. Europeans, americans, africans etc. The issue is having identity or root is not a crime. Taking advantage over others because of ethnic hegemony or root or considering your root as golden root over others is anot acceptable. Whoever has classified us as beings on earth we are classified by color, appearance, name, ethnic etc. Yea, when you refer some one n@@ger you know it is not normal. You should as well know when you stereotype a particular ethnic and call all the ethnic name is not going unnoticed. Me and horus are separate people with different value but I believe my root is non inferior to any other root and I don’t like my root called names for whatever wrong horus has done. That does not make me tribalist by any means. Respecting me demands respecting my root with responsibility to respect the roots of others. Respect is both ways. Nasro being a gurage is not any stupid than being Amhara, Tigre or Oromo. Tiago should see it that way and respect others root. There are better ways and a lot other options to engage individuals. No need to insult any ethnics in already polarized environment that is burning. If Oromo tells me not to say gala, I have to accept that. Just be informed I have been name called like Nasro simply because I came from where Nasser came not because who I am or how I exceeded others. That is absolutely wrong.

It is a key ingredient of the rule of law and good governance. By and large those nations who adopted that principle are livable & attracts millions of people from other nations who do not.
I came across numerous Ethiopians who lives in a very harsh environment in places like Alaska, the northern part of Canada and Northern Europe. Because those places are liveable and equal rights are protected by law.
Until we achieve that in Ethiopia, there will be no peace and people will migrate when they can.

I agree with what you said. When they send their kids to a free country and enjoy life themselves life there we know Ethiopian politicians like to cook their people in ethnic pressure cooker. That is one of the reasons people say our country including Africa is left behind because of bad governance.
About the ethnic sensitivity: no, I am not responding to you and Tiago any differently. I have been fighting on this with shabiya supporters and a forumer by the name abyssinialady. These ethnic insults should be abolished in the future. That has been my belief all the time. These ethnic insults usually are flung ofcourse when cadre Horus keeps on misbehaving. In my view FANO is the only hope in saving Ethiopia but I don’t think it is possible without the support of other groups. Otherwise it means FANO has to impose its will on to others & that means endless civil war.
It is a quagmire designed by our enemies and we fall for it.
At this point maybe FANO and the Amharas look after themselves and set example for a future union. It is complicated.

I don’t think the ethiopian public fell in love with ethnic politics. Of course the valtures, political scavengers, opportunists are taking advantage of that. Look, when Mr Abiy assumed position, most ethiopian expectation was for him to revise the constitution, remove the ethnic barbaric politics, build institutions and usher democracy but he chose to stay tribalist, [deleted] on some sort of Oromo fanatic Nationalism and behave as God anointed King . Well that is not what one expected from a normal leader. And all the wars + fancy projects. Now except cadres, EPRDF leftover PP ethnic leaders and opportunists, apparently people keep on grumbling but it is our culture no one wants to lead in public opposition. Also public needs a lot of work to unify it and rise to demand a change. For that leaders and activists are of utmost importance. Also there could be public fatigue due to repeated atrocities and oppressions as well as recent change. Corrupt system is also allowing people to get corrupted and gain money than concentrate on burning issues of political nature. It does not mean other regional forces or ethnics don’t have support for fano. There is general public support for Fano but the problem is the fano political agenda and strategy has not come out clear and unified (secession vs union; sometimes we hear unionists or so called ethiopianists are advised to stay away on amhara business so and so forth). Even in diaspora because of the division, it is not clear which group to support or not. Ethiopians have problem how and who to support, which fano’s objective is what as a result of which PP cadres and the leader himself enjoy the division. If it was not for the division by now probably much could have been achieved. Because now the Fano struggle has become so ethnically skewed and unionists/Ethiopianists are told to stay clear as a result of which many of us even don’t talk about Fano any more. So, it is hard to expect much from other regions when there is no strong consensus or clear strategy to align with. Because of that kind of division, a group that says the status quo should stay as it is, whatever evil it is, has risen because there is no clear choice to make and ensure the continuity of the country. Many of Aniy supporters fall in that group. To win your enemy unity and clear short term as well as longterm strategy are of utmost importance.
