Re: Sudan Is Stll Alive
For those of us who do not speak Arabic, this song does not connote Sudanese patriotism.

Somali man,
I hardly speak Arabic. What is the lyrics about. I am a great fun of symphony. If it was up to me, I would add 5 violins, a pair of clarinet and bassoon. Do away with the old man and bring a young woman that can hit very high note as needed.

Like most of Sudanese songs, it's based on love between human beings. And the main line of this song says, "although imagination can create a picture or representation of a person, the best is the language of the eyes", by which he means that it's better to see the person in face, rather than relying upon your own imagination of the person.
If you're dating by distance, including online, be careful, you might be surprised the day when you would see the person in face.
