Many ENDF recruits are from Oromia and the South their families Do not recieve any compensation for the death of their conscripted child. When a Fano dies inside Amhara its patriotism dying in your own homeland. But a ENDF from Welayta - Weremo soldier dying in Amhara Region is a curse. These ENDF Soldiers cannot even buy a house in Addis.
The War in Amhara is not much different than the war that occurred in Tigray. Its a war based on political differences an attempt to subjugate an autonomous people and region by force. Caused by Abiy Ahmed. Abiy Ahmed believed he could disarm the Amhara people in 2023. Now after realizing he cannot defeat Fano he is arming Amhara Farmers with sh!tty Klashnikovs to defend PPs control over towns across Amhara.
PP is in fact sending many weapons into Amhara which will actually lead to Amhara gaining more access to arms. These weapons Fano have no access to other than PP
In fact PP should have learned from the war in Tigray. But it didnt. PP thought Fano would be easily destroyed and crushed within 2 weeks later on they declared a state of emergency. Its been 2 years and PP cannot govern the Amhara Region nor can it defeat Fano a self made militia group consisting of activists, milishas, and former Liyu Hayl members.
