When the two giants of two continents of the planet come together, then the rest is a foregone conclusion

Post by DefendTheTruth » 04 Aug 2025, 08:47

Ethiopia is Africa's giant, Brazil is that of South America's. When these two giants start to cooperate, then their influence on the global scale is a foregone conclusion. They can reshape the world order, they have partners in the rest of the continents, namely in Asia, where the world's two heavy weights are currently residing, China and India.

Europe and its outreach in the North-American continent are all on the decline, while the above partnership is on the rise.

What is Ethiopia's share of global trade?

It is less than 0.1%!!! Now if you add that to anything, would anyone think that the sum total would become something that would influence on the global scale that can reshape the world order? Unlikely.

I don't know about the current trade share, but why should it matter that much? If it is only about filling our bellies, then that too could be a big factor.

Beyond that Ethiopia is the Gateway of Africa, Africa is the rising star of the world, rich in resources, unparalleled anywhere else.

If Africa just starts to use its resources efficiently, then the rest will follow, the sky is the limit.

Africa will have its share in the UNSC perhaps very soon, where Ethiopia could be instrumental in achieving that as a nation that has never been colonized in the whole of her history. Does that ring anything into your ear?

If the UNSC itself could be changed, this way or that way, then that by itself is a change in the current global order.

Ethiopia's diplomatic outreach has been expanding recently, you know why?

Ethiopia's influence already there, let me lecture you. If that of Brazil could be added on top of that, then the influence is of global scale, like it or not.

Come back and ask me in ca. 10 years' time.
