Contribution to towards augmenting Martyrs Trust Fund

Nationals in various German cities have contributed approximately 153,000 Euros toward augmenting the National Martyrs Trust Fund and supporting families of martyrs.
Accordingly, Adal sports team, Mr. Seium Gebrehiwet and other nationals have assumed the responsibility of supporting 118 families and have contributed 82 thousand 350 Euros.
Likewise, Martyrs group in Bielefeld and its environs contributed 1 thousand 400 Euros, residents of Dusseldorf and its environs contributed 3 thousand 400 Euros, DEG Eritrea-German 500 Eoros, national committee in Kassel contributed 3 thousand 052 Euros, national committee in Munich contributed 240 Euros, national committee in Stuttgart and its environs contributed 3 thousand 985 euros, national committee in Wuppertal and its environs contributed 5 thousand Euros, PFDJ group in Karlsruhe contributed 1 thousand 021 Euros, Hidri group in Humburg contributed 6 thousand 624 Euros, national committee in Frankfurt contributed 7 thousand 870 Euros, national committee in Manheim contributed 11 thousand 075 Euros, nationals in Cologne contributed 1 thousand 927 Euros, youth nationals in Lagan-Humburg contributed 4 thousand 765 Euros, Eritrean community in Karlsruhe contributed 4 thousand 155 Euros, Eritrean community in Wiesbaden contributed 5 thousand 960 Euros, Eritrean community in Kreis-Offenbach contributed 4 thousand 875 Euros, family of Mr. Semere Woldu contributed 100 Euros and seven nationals contributed 1 thousand 210 Euros.
Eritrean community in Austria, also, contributed 2 thousand 500 Euros towards augmenting the National Trust Fund.

7th Annual NCEA Conference Convenes

The 7th National Council of Eritrean Americans (NCEA) convened on 29 July in the city of Rafaele under the theme
Speaking at the event, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwet, Chargé d’Affaires at the Eritrean Embassy, said that the conference is of particular significance as it is taking place at a time when Eritrea has achieved various diplomatic and political victories and has become a major partner in ensuring regional peace and stability.
Highlighting the importance of strengthening organizational capacity and unity to succeed in national development and resilience efforts, Mr. Berhane expressed his hope that the conference would design viable programs and adopt resolutions to support the national development agenda.
Ms. Hadinet Keleta, Head of Public and Community Affairs, introduced the objectives and agenda of the conference and expressed her expectation that participants would enrich the sessions with ideas and practical resolutions.
The event featured a fashion show depicting Eritrea’s ethnic groups, along with music and drama performances by Hidri youth born in the diaspora.
Reports with statistical data were presented by PFDJ organizations and the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Hidri, followed by extensive discussions among participants.
