These propositions and objectives would have been his guiding principles.
1. Respect the sovereignity of all surrounding countries.
2. Invest in surrounding countries sea access with sea outlets.
3. Negotiate and develop a working relationships with arms length transactions.
4. Get rid off ethnic democracy with the help of parliament and public participation as the third partner.
5. Replace Ethnic based democracy by none ethnic based genuine democracy.
6. Give a boost for Tigrayans and Amhara relationships.
7. Find a way to resolve the Welqait issue with far larger input from the residents of Welqait. Displaced residents of Welqait need to be resettled to their homes in their own lands. Welqait should not be a battle ground for none residents

All the other points are great how ever ethnic federalism is the one thing that keeps this country together . If ethnic federalism is gone. The gallas will be the first to overthrow Abiye that simple it is no one wants to go back tot the centralism of the Amhara not under Galla nor under Amhara not under any one . Do you think Tigrayan afars Somalis sidamas wish to be under another ethnic Amhara rule with no say over their land .

What you wrote, , only a Tigrayans would. Not an ethnic Somali for sure. But, I do respect who you say you are. Nonetheless, why would you think that Ethnic based democracy is good for any society. Are you afraid of the boogie man namely Amhara ?Amharas will be represented according to their numbers. The Oromos are much populous hence they stand to benefit a little bit. Tigrayans will be fine. They do their homework very well. Tigrayans can declare independence if the regime in Eritrea falls apart. Isayas is on his way out. Eritreans are not the enemies of Tigray or Amhara. Ethnic federalism is destructive and ugly. It has to go.m
