But all his plans back fired on him and he is begging tplf by sending elders to tigrai region to help him attack eritrea.

Not how I saw it.
He wanted to give the tplf he crippled some space to breath by removing G.Radar and appointing Werede close to the hardline faction of Gebrezionin order to intimidate Fano which he sees as the greater evil to his power. But this backfired on him. Gebreseol began media campaign to form alliance with Eritrea against Ethiopia.
