If poverty-stricken Ethiopia is too expensive for its Diaspora population, imagine how hard life is for its local population.

All the high rise buildings we built to house USAID staff in Addis Ababa have gone to waste following the termination of USAID program in Ethiopia. No one raised the "What if" question when planning the construction of the buildings using IMF loans. We are doomed!
