Beggars are all over the world. The issue is how many they are there. Even where I live, the richest country in the world there are people who request help at traffic light. Many of them. Now you seem to boast that Abiy Ahmed, the son of destitute and poor man, himself abject poor when he began made begging illegal in Ethiopia. How nice
A better propaganda would have been all Ethiopians became so rich that there are no more beggars.
Now, some of them may be placed in prison so the Arab tycoons coming to Addis won't be uncomfortable.

I would not say that if l were you while in Ethiopia because of lack of proper leadership for the past 60 some years. You can disappear poverty from Addis according to this and past leadership by removing the poor per corridor limat or killing the poor. There, you solved poverty.
