There may be few Amharic speakers in that region and he is working with his Oromo horses to exterminate them. It is something that needs attention. Yes, there are. Perhaps more than elsewhere in Gurage. OLF is not just after Amara. It could be any ethnic groups that share border with Oromo, be it Gurage, Sidama, Afar, Benishangul-Gumuz, Gambella or Somali.
OLF's fundamental pursuit per its widely publicized goal is to expand the territory of ethnic Oromo by violent land grabs as much as possible from ethnic groups that border with Oromo
