By now, unless a person is living in the twilight zone, everyone knows that the forced federation of Eritrea to Ethiopia in 1952, and the subsequent illegal annexation in 1962, was the work of the then US government for its own strategic interests.

After Eritrea defeated Ethiopia to gain its independence in 1991, the US government's long-term policy was to establish an ethnic federalism system in Ethiopia with the aim of forcing Eritrea to once again be federated with Africa's largest neo-colony, Ethiopia, through various means, which included USAID-funded mercenary wars of invasion, sanctions, psychological warfare etc...

The ethnic federalism arrangement in Ethiopia that was established for the sole purpose of incorporating the nation of Eritrea, ended up becoming an ethnic fault line running through Ethiopia's major ethnic regions, fueling the current ethnic conflicts that have threatened the existence of the nation.

From my personal point of view, the ethnic federalism system in Ethiopia is a blessing in disguise, because it has backfired on its architects and reduced their aid-fed minions into disposable pawns for oil-rich Arab monarchies until the inevitable happens.

The death of Ethnic Federalism mean, the end of Eritrea being called "country" on paper. The 100-year homework given to Ethiopia by the two-Ascaris (Meles-Isais), had been the life line for Shabia to keep ruining Eritrea province. The day Ethnic/tribal ends, the next morning Eritrea province would be integrated back to her motherland, Ethiopia. Asmara city with delipidated, mold infested building and disgust look of like buildings of public latrines would have a new look.
Honestly, it is a never again for any honest person from the province of Eritrea to go again the crazy hellish path the lowlander retard Jebha/Shabia pursued.
