Does War-torn Ethiopia Have Any Proven Oil and Natural Gas Reserves?

The answer is big no.

War-torn Ethiopia has neither deposits of oil and natural gas nor other critical natural resources, What war-torn Ethiopia has is more than eighty-five different ethnic groups's hungry mouths and nothing else, The Somali’s proven oil and natural gas reserves in Somali State doesn't belong to war-torn Ethiopia, It belongs exclusively to Somalis, No one can touch it.

Ethiopia is a war-torn landlocked country that lacks economically important natural resources leverage to influence the European Union and the United States of America's diplomacy, And thus the so called Ethiopian government is constantly lying about it is becoming a major oil and natural gas exporter for political purposes to attract the attention of the United States and the European Union but to no avail.

Kenya is as poor as war-torn Ethiopia in terms of natural resources but it has been designated as a Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) by the United States because Kenya has at least 424 kilometers long triangle coastline and due to its geographical proximity to resource-rich Somalia and Somalia's vast coastline.

Southern Somali Sea.

Kenya is indeed a country of vital strategic importance to United States of America due to its proximity to Somalia and Somalia's vast sea which is rich in natural resources as well.

The oil field was discovered off Mozambique by Italian oil and gas giant Eni

Mozambique has become a major exporter of natural gas in the last two years, In 2011, significant natural gas reserves were discovered off the coast of Mozambique's Cabo Delgado province, in the Rovuma Basin, near its border with Tanzania.
