Mamdani's early life

Born on October 18, 1991, in Kampala, Uganda, Mamdani is the son of Indian-origin parents, renowned filmmaker Mira Nair, known for films such as Salaam Bombay! and Monsoon Wedding, and academic Mahmood Mamdani, an Indian-born Ugandan scholar.

He spent his early childhood in Cape Town, South Africa, attending St. George’s Grammar School, before moving to New York City at the age of seven.

He later graduated from the Bank Street School for Children and the Bronx High School of Science. In 2014, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin College.

The single best decision the parents of Zohran Mamdani did, was, sending their child to St. George's Grammar School to learn Christian morality and humanity at the early stage of his life. Had he attended a backward Islamic Madrasa school in Arabic, the closest he could have accomplished was a city bus driver in Bronx. Or, he could have joined extremist Jihadis such as ISIS and Al Qaida, and dead or imprisoned by now.

So true! Their faith teaching of Shia maybe Sufism but not the Mullahs type in Iran , they are radical. But the Sufism Islam is pretty much wisdom teaching, twirling . Whereas the Gulf State kings can only survive by dumming and oppressing down their society , the best job they can give them is to train their citizens as terrorist by kidnapping them or kidnapping their family.

I very much doubt he will make it in the general election. In the primary, the voters are overwhelmingly the devoted idealists. In the general election, the moderates outnumber the idealists.
Some say, he might pivot on some issues to bring the moderates in to the fold, which practically alienates the idealists foot soldiers.
Even in New York where the politics of the left is dominant, it is unlikely Zohran he will prevail in the general election.
Even if he does prevail, it is nearly impossible to implement his plans, for example , like universal health coverage.
Even the federal government hasn’t managed to do just that, not because of lack of trying. It is because the power against it has more money, and practically “ control” many of the legislators who vote on it.
The democrats did better when they took the middle ground of politics. Clinton and Obama are examples.
