Breaking news

The President of the Republic of Somaliland is set to officially open the country's first bullet factory.

Former President Muse Bihi laid the foundation for the project.

The factory will produce up to 10,000 bullets per day — a major milestone in Somaliland’s local defense manufacturing.

If this is the $100 million investment of the American whom Somaliland was boasting about a week ago, then, they're taking it up the as's!
A well developed country manufacturing bullets is fine, but a place that's importing eggs and frozen chicken from Brazil and South Africa and that's attracted to manufacturing bullets is beyond belief!

I am not sure how the factory how it will operate and the ins and out. But it is good that they can atleast they can take care of their domestic market. They are doing pretty good really with the limited resources they have , everting that stops import in Somalia is goood if it produced inside the country . Yeas I concur that food sustainability is a must and should be the focus , but this is also a start
Nonetheless good step let’s see when it opens

A Gurage listro parroting Somaliland!
I swear to God not even 1% of Somalis know whether Gurage is the name of an ethnicity, place, dish, or someone. The first time I heard Gurage myself was on this forum.
Trust me, any Ethiopian parroting Somaliland would automatically be taken for a clown by people from Somaliland.
