H.E. Biniam Berhe, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Eritrea, led a delegation from the Eritrean Embassy had a courtesy visit to H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission. During the meeting, H.E. Biniam extended Eritrea’s congratulations to the Chairperson on his recent appointment and expressed gratitude for the strengthening ties between the AU Commission and Eritrea.
The Chairperson acknowledged Eritrea’s significant and active participation in AU affairs, emphasizing the country’s strategic geographic position and its potential to enhance regional cooperation, development, and stability. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration to advance shared goals for Africa’s progress.
