If you live your life on ER, yes, you have already created an alternative universe. But that universe might not reflect the great majority of Ethiopians interest. The most important interest now is to have peace.

The sad thing about Ethiopian elites is that if a respected individual who has nothing to do with linguistics, anthropology or history says something, they accept it as a biblical truth and spread it like a common proven knowledge or fact. They can't even defend their truth.

Professor Mesfin Weldemariam for instance is a cartographer and head of Geography department in Addis Abeba university with a professor title. This guy has no clue about history, linguistics and anthropology, yet the pseudo educated elites take everything he says as a word from heaven.

Have you not supported ethnic federalism?

Have never supported, and will never support it. The very belief that the rights of every ethnic group would be guaranteed only by ethnic federalism is a bizarre, wrong theory.
In fact, on the contrary ethnic federalism is a guarantor of a nonexistent peace wherever it is worshipped.
