Eritrea, a creation of the West, was specifically awarded to Egypt to weaken Ethiopia and East Africa. Before European colonization, there was no entity or region called “Eritrea.”
History : Before colonization, the region now called Eritrea was part of various local kingdoms and highland communities, and sometimes under the influence or control of the Abyssinian (Ethiopian) Empire, especially in the highland areas.
However, the lowlands and coastal regions were historically more loosely connected to the Ethiopian highlands and had different cultural and political dynamics, including ties to the Ottoman Empire and Egyptian rule at times.

Re: People in Eritrea think they have a country
Eritrea’s primary income source is money remittances from its descendants, descendants of ASACRI who are living US and Europe. If Eritrea relies solely on this, it’s a fabricated entity manipulated by the West. Prove me wrong, Skunis.
Re: People in Eritrea think they have a country
The Dankalia lowlands of Eritrea belong to the Afar People of Ethiopia
The Lowlands of Gashbarka belong to Sudan
