Just in one year the number of people in need increased by 7.2 Millions from 21.4M in 2024 to 28.6M. What a miracle! These figures don’t include the millions of civil servants who are struggling to survive even if they have jobs.

This is so tragic!

In times of economic calamities, such as hyperinflation, rising cost of living, lower wages and high unemployment rate in Ethiopia, the vultures prey on victims to rob them of what little they have.

According to the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI), which evaluates factors such as living standards and education, Abiy’s Ethiopia is ranked 180th globally. Let that sink in for a moment — it’s among the lowest rankings, even compared to other African countries.

Human development entails access to quality education, food, drinking water, affordable housing, health care, peace and protection of lives and properties, transportation etc. which are things that are not a priority to the Abiy regime. ማሙሽ is busy wasting the country’s resources on wars and his pet projects instead.

I for one want to live in Abiy’s Ethiopia than in Melese’s. To begin with, I want an Ethiopian leader who believes in Ethiopia and strives his/ her best to work to that end. To that I choose Abiy than more than hundreds of TPLF, OLF and the new ደንቆሮ ፋኖ leaders combined.
Yes, the tribal politicians and cadres try to tell us they are more Ethiopian than Abiy is . We are not born yesterday. We know better. With all his shortcomings, Abiy is 10000 thousands times more Ethiopian than the whole tribal politicians of every ethnicity put together.
If you guys are happy sabotaging yourself go ahead and do it, and you are free to do it. But don’t think us we are ደንቆሮl. You are indeed the one who are. We read not only what is written, but also what is not written but implied.
The struggle now is as before between tribalism and Ethiopia.
Yes, Abiy is in the camp of the latter. We love him for it.

But there is hope : you religiously read what I write on ER. There is some hope I can drill some sense to your otherwise frozen brain.

Ethiopia’s Wheat Miracle: A Grand Vision or a Statistical Illusion?

Source: https://ukragroconsult.com/en/news/ethi ... -illusion/
However, an investigation by The Economist suggests that Ethiopia’s wheat revolution may not be as groundbreaking as official figures suggest. The government claims that wheat production soared from 15.1 million tonnes in 2022-23 to 23 million tonnes the following year, placing Ethiopia among the world’s top wheat producers. Yet, independent estimates tell a different story. The African Development Bank (AfDB) puts Ethiopia’s 2023-24 wheat output at just 7.5 million tonnes, while the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimated it at 5.8 million tonnes for 2022-23.
The incompetent የታይታ government chose to fake wheat production data instead of actually doing the hard work to truly boost production.

Abiy is as what you call tribal as 'the new ደንቆሮ ፋኖ leaders' or OLF leaders. He joined OPDO and lead OPDO and established an OPDO government. The first O in the acronym represents for Oromo - not "Ordinary Ethiopians". Why didn't he join an Ethiopianist የአንድንት organization if he was የዜግነት ፖለቲካ አራማጅ? Why did 'tribalist' OPDO members choose them to lead a tribalist' OPDO? Because he is one of them!

Checkout the genesis of Abiy's & his Tokuma Oromo team . . .
