In 2024, Djibouti offered its Port of Tadjoura to Ethiopia to develop and use as it pleases, but the UAE rejected the offer because it is still holding a grudge against Djibouti for terminating its 50-year port operations contract in favor of China back in 2018.
Since the UAE cannot directly attack Djibouti due to the presence of global powers' military bases in the country, it is using its newest colony of Ethiopia to destabilize the region in hopes of destabilizing Djibouti. Abiy Ahmed, for his destabilizing efforts is rewarded a few UAE-funded lighted streets and sidewalks in the capital, totally oblivious to the looming danger of disintegration.

Very interesting I would actually not feel bad and would welcome this the families in Djibouti and shinile would be united but. Lijj aklilu i would love to get some farm land in this we could lease for commercial purposes or exchange part of the deal because if we give you ownership over the Red Sea we would lose allot of income so in order to cover that we would need allot of fertile land . Djibouti owns and then I sign . You happy. Acces to the sea we have another source of income and we get our land back

The possible facts of the future are limitless. How future generations will solve emerging problems is the task of that generation. The issue at hand is the restoration of illegally taken Ethiopian access to the Red Sea. This is the historic task of this generation. This is the problem of this generation. Assab is an Ethiopian land & shall be returned to its rightful owner! As the saying goes, you pay your debt now or you will pay it later. A debt must be paid!
