Can someone explain to me the idea behind the currently running corridor development in Ethiopia, what is the main motive behind the idea?
Why should I (as a private citizen) care about it after all?
Jawar Mohmmed commented at one point flashy lights of Shisha houses, or something very similar. There are lot of so called opposition commentators that try to depict the effort as something superficial beautification or fancy development of roads and the likes. For now forgetting those who said they are mourning the demolishing of their old shanty towns.

It is intended to swindle Ethiopians, to make them forget their horrible lives and believe that there is real progress just because PP has installed shining lamps in a 100sq km corner of a 1,000,000 sq km nation! It just proves Abiy and his PP are a bunch of illiterate dimwits to imagine that anyone is going to buy their idiotic propaganda when even doctors cannot afford a decent meal.
