Abiy said Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Africa
I couldn't believe this because I thought we were number two, but it's true. We have become the largest wheat producer in Africa, surpassing Egypt.

Seasame, cooldown. Any positive news about Ethiopia seemed to have given you a heartache. Learn to live with positive news about Ethiopia because many morec are coming.
Don’t spare your remaining time as a bitter old Eritrean who is consumed by self-inflicted hatred of things totally out of his control.

Re: Abiy said Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Africa
The low IQ PP cadres cannot hide the horror in their miserable country. Only a moron would believes that a country with half of its territory wracked with multiple civil wars is able to achieve any progress! Abiy also claimed Ethiopia's exports amounted to $8 billion this year!

WFP warns of rising hunger and malnutrition in Ethiopia as humanitarian needs outpace resources

The organization’s life-saving response has been severely hampered by critical funding shortfalls as 3.6 million of the most vulnerable are at imminent risk of losing food assistance, including malnutrition treatment for 650,000 women and children.

Seasame, it is to that “ hungry” Ethiopia Eritreans are fleeing, not the other way around. Forget about Ethiopia, and try to know who you guys really are. Try not to be manipulated and as a result worship a dictator who doesn’t know in which century that he lives in.
Don’t delude yourself that you could divide Ethiopians so that you guys promote Eritrean’s interest anymore. That belief is reducing you to a su.. up bunch. Yesterday, the “ agames” were your enemies, and the Oromos your brothers, and now it is the other way around. You guys make political prostitution as an art.

Dumbo, the Eritreans who flee to Ethiopia use it as a stop over for their journey to Europe, USA or Canada. They are not starving. Far from it. They live much better lives than your starving doctors and teachers! But you are a typical low IQ PP cadre! Now listen to the horror story of the city where the illiterate Abiy lives! Addis has become a beggar's city!

Re: Abiy said Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Africa
I don't know where they got that information from, but Ethiopia has become one of the top 20 wheat-producing countries in the world—ranking ahead of even Italy and Spain. This is probably the work of the IMF and World Bank, as Ethiopia is following their directives. They could manipulate anything as they wish.
Here, you can see that Egypt is ranked ahead of us, but other sources confirm that Ethiopia is the leading wheat producer in Africa. You can Google it.

Re: Abiy said Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Africa
Seasame, why not you care about your country as you “ care” about Ethiopia. You guys are telling us Eritrea is self-sufficient, in the meantime Isayes doesn’t allow any diaspora to bury his mother in Asmara unless he pay taxes to the Eritrean government, where he doesn’t live.
As for Ethiopia is a transit point to go to Europe and US, I don’t necessarily disagree with your assumption. But you don’t really care there are more Eritreans outside Eritrea than in.
You don’t care to ask why the Eritreans in Sudan chose to risk their lives in Sudan civil war rather than go back to Eritrea.
These are real issues any Eritrean who loves his country should think about.
Whether Ethiopia is poised to take off economically or not shouldn’t necessarily bother any Eritrean. It is an Ethiopian thing.

Re: Abiy said Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Africa
He said Ethiopia is producing 3 times of Egypt in his yesterday's interview. He was saying last year that he wants to takeover Egypt. How realistic is that he can produce 3 times Egypt in 1 year? In Abiy's, Horus's and Sam's የምርቃና ዓለም, የምርቃና ስንዴም ይመረታል።Abaymado wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025, 09:27

Eden, I don’t know about Abiy’s claim. He said Ethiopia is producing three times that of Egypt. Is he right ? I don’t know.
