Evidence-based statements like this are very alarming, but for low IQ PP cadres from Tigray like Horus, Abere, Selam/, Axumezana, Serving the UAE, etc... it is a breath of fresh air.

Part of the conditions the IMF imposed on Ethiopia in order for the country to pay back the $68 billion debt is to reduce or freeze public sector wages. Ethiopian doctors will continue to get paid $70 a month until the country's foreign debt is paid in full. Debt free countries like Eritrea can afford to pay their doctors livable wages. Debt is a curse.
