Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (pictured), also known as Hemedti, the leader of the United Arab Emirates-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan, has accused Eritrea of supporting al-Burhan’s government, which he claims is the reason for his army's defeat.
Hemedti expressed his anger, stating that Eritrea has been instrumental in supporting al-Burhan’s forces by providing several military training camps.
Two months ago, al-Burhan visited Asmara and praised Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki for his support of Sudan.
Reports indicate that Hemedti has fled Sudan, traveling through Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, to Ethiopia.
It is noteworthy that just 48 hours ago, the Sudanese leader canceled a scheduled meeting with Ethiopian delegates in Port Sudan.
